What’s in Miramar Beach

If you're getting ready to move to Miramar Beach or maybe you are just getting ready to book a vacation or invest in property in Miramar, you probably want to know, what exactly is in Miramar Beach? Is it like Destin? Is it like Fort Walton Beach? Is it like Navarre Beach? I mean, really, what's going on? So today, I'm going to give you a little bit more information and tell you what is there to do and places to go in Miramar Beach. So, sit tight.

Alright. So, what's in Miramar Beach?

BEAUTIFUL HOUSING OPTION

Well, first, let's talk about the housing options, beautiful housing options in Miramar. Prices maybe a little bit higher than what you might see in Fort Walton Beach or Navarre or even further north in Crestview. But again, you get what you pay for. So, if you're going to be in a much more touristy area, close to the beach, of course, the prices are going to be a little bit up there. But, you had your options between condos, whether they're beach view or walking distance from the beach, or you can have a single-family home as well. Of course, that's going to be a lot of further up there in price range, especially if you're right on the beach as well, where you can find a nice little townhome. It's great too if you're just looking for a second home because it's, you know, you'll be able to enjoy your time in the property and then rented out when you're not using it. So it's a great opportunity to make some passive income. And also, if you have a lot of families that like to come visit with you in the area, great to have a house or a town hall or just even a condo with lots of space in Miramar Beach. That way everyone can come and have a good time together.

BEACHES

The beaches, let's touch on that. I'm sure you've already heard or have seen by yourself how beautiful the beach is. Some people ask what the difference is, you know, on on the beach between Destin and Miramar, 30A. I mean, as far as the way the beach looks, it's all the same beautiful scenery. It's, you know, the white sands, the blue green waters, it's all there. All down the whole strip of the beach that we have here on the Panhandle. And now, if you are looking to kind of get away from the more touristy area, then you might want to find a little spot that's north of Highway 98. That's the kind of get you away. Of course, you're going to still be caught in the crowd at some point in that area. However, if you're looking for a more a quiet residential area, then we can definitely help you find the right spot for you. And if it's just something that you're looking to move into full time, not a second home, but you plan on living in it. Definitely want to make sure you find what you're looking for that works for you. You don't want to have to settle. So again, we can help you with for that in Miramar Beach.

GOLF COURSES

Another thing if you are a golfer, there's some well kept golf courses in Miramar Beach. So, I believe there's at least three, don't quote me on that, I have to look again, but I know there's at least three golf courses around Miramar that you'd be able to enjoy.

SILVER SANDS PREMIUM OUTLET

If you like shopping. There's the Silver Sands Premium Outlet with all of the top brands. I mean, there's Coach, Dooney and Bourke. It's funny that I named the person's, the person's first of course, but, you know I'm a person so, that's the first that comes to mind. There's the Disney Outlet, Saks OFF 5TH, there's Nike, Adidas, Crocs, North Face, Columbia. Just all kind of top name brands there at the premium outlet. So, if you do plan on shopping there, you might want to set aside maybe half a day if you want to check out all the stores there. So, I think of maybe close to a hundred stores and restaurants in the Silver Sands Premium Outlets there in Miramar.

AMC Movie Theater

Do you just want to have a little chill day, maybe catch a movie? There's AMC movie theater as well on Grand Boulevard. If you like the outdoors and not necessarily just lay out on the beach. You want to go for a walk or a hike or a bike ride. There's the three mile Scenic Highway 98 trail, that would be perfect for you. If you're more of a foodie, there are lots of delicious cuisines in Miramar Beach. Of course, there's seafood, but other than that, there's also a variety such as Greek, Italian, American. So, whatever your taste buds are craving, you'll be able to find that in Miramar Beach.

THINGS TO DO WITH THE FAMILY

You can go on fishing charters or dolphin cruises, those are super fun. You're always going to find a place available where you can schedule that. So, just make sure you do it in advance to make sure you get the time and day that you want and check out the awesome dolphins out there that love some attention from the crowd.

BAYTOWNE WHARF

Now, there's also the village of Baytowne Wharf. That's an awesome place to go to in Sandestin. If you have kids, there's playgrounds, there's adventure zone that includes wall climbing, ziplining, there's a Carousel, there's a little golf challenge and much more. I think there's laser tag there too. There's arcades. There are restaurants and retail stores and people gift shops there. And another thing that I want to point about Village of Baytowne is, it did literally is like a village. There's all these cute little buildings all lined up, and it just really gives you that whole village feel. Hencebench village of Baytowne Wharf.

FESTIVALS

There's also really fun festivals that they have, annual festivals there. There's concerts and movies on the line that they have certain times a year and a lot of these are free events too. But again, you just have to check and make sure with, you know, some may have an admission. But, there are a lot of events that are free of charge just to attend, and it can be kid friendly as well. But just make sure you check the event calendar and make sure you catch something that would just go perfect for you and your family, especially if you are only visiting. You want to make sure you catch something good while you're here in the area. But yes, Miramar Beach, it's very similar to the Destin area. I mean, it's right next to it, it's just east of Destin. And there's lots of places to if you're looking to visit lots of condos, vacation rentals in the area that can be reasonably priced.

Again, any property that you're looking for that's if you're right on the beach, the prices are going to be a little bit higher. But, you'll definitely be able to find something that's in your budget, especially if you're going with a crowd. Of course, everyone going to chip in on the rental. But if you are looking for a home to, Miramar Beach is still a great place to go. There's, again, there's the shopping, the dining activities, all year long. There's always something to do.
